West Virginia University is on track to have a campus child care center for families of students and employees by the summer of 2009, WVU first lady Heather Garrison said Jan. 16.
Plans are moving forward, Garrison said, thanks to the work of a 17-member child care facility implementation team made up of faculty, staff, students and administrators.
Formed in October, the group has selected as its location a plot of university-owned land adjacent to Krepps Park at the corner of Patteson Drive and Jerry West Boulevard.
