Eastman chooses The Hague as location for European headquarters

Eastman Chemical Co has announced the selection of The Hague, in The Netherlands, as the location for its European headquarters. The President of Eastman, Earnest W. Deavenport, expects the headquarters to be operational by 1 July. This announcement follows an earlier one in which the company said it would select a site in The Netherlands, at either Moerdijk or Rotterdam, for a manufacturing plant.
Initially a twelve person staff will run the headquarters rising to about 65 within five years, says Eastman.
