Following the conclusion of a year-long trial, Tiscali UK has said that it will delay the roll-out of a commercial broadband via satellite service by perhaps three to six months in order to look over the trial results.

The trial was successful, but consumers feel that the E875 ([pound sign]600) installation costs are a big barrier to them picking up the service.

However, despite this, the service has proven to be most popular amongst small business and telecommuter trial participants, many of whom have reportedly continued the service beyond the end of the trial.((Distributed via M2 Communications Ltd - http://www.m2.com))
