Search engine powerhouse Google has launched a series of national versions of its headline aggregation service, Google News.

Similar to the global version of the news service, the new national versions, initially serving Canada, the UK, India, New Zealand and Australia, will electronically collate news headlines and photographs from around 4,500 global media outlets, but will emphasise articles and news sources that relate to the particular nation.((Distributed via M2 Communications Ltd - http://www.m2.com))
