Following what it describes as "a very successful six month customer trial across the UK", O2 has signed a software licence agreement with PocketThis for its My Pocket service.

My Pocket is based on technology developed by PocketThis. It provides subscribers with a 'virtual pocket' on their mobile devices where they can save, share and act on information accessed from a variety of sources, including O2's new colour icon-driven Active service, O2's existing WAP service and a range of internet sites.

Subscribers planning a night out, for example, can save details of a restaurant listed in O2 Active to My Pocket. Once saved to My Pocket, the PocketThis software...
