Office rents are finally climbing in S.F., though just barely. As rents rose 1% in the third quarter, vacancies slipped from 24% to 21%.
Cruise ships are helping S.F. tourism. The number of visitors boarding or departing cruise ships in S.F. will reach 200,000 this year, up 46% from the year before. In 2005, it is expected to rise to 225,000.
