Calvin Klein's latest make-up is right in fashion.

The Spring 2001 collection from Calvin Klein Cosmetics is launching on the 19th of this month.

Dagne Larson, director of Colour Development, says, "In developing the make-up collection for Spring 2001 we looked at the ready to wear collections for inspiration, translating the shades and textures of the fabrics to create a modern palette for the face." Larson claims that this original approach has been the basis of the cosmetics brand's popularity "For the first time a colour cosmetics line was created to complement ready to wear Spring and Fall -- and this philosophy has lead to the collection's success."

The range uses translucent layering of sheer, weghtless textures, echoing the 'fluid yet crisp, sheer yet opaque' fabrics of the Spring catwalk...
