In a new survey by market research I company Taylor Nelson Sofres, research shows that the British have the freshest breath in Europe.

The survey show that less than one in 12 Britains has bad breath, compared with an average of 15% in Europe. British women are slightly more concerned, says Taylor Nelson Sofres, with having fresher breath than British men, with three million women using mouthwash compared with 2.7 million British men. Fresh breath is a primary reason for using toothpaste for the British, rather than for dental health or whitening, reveals the research.
