Europe: Happyderm from L'Oreal Paris aims to extend the youthful freshness of radiant, 20-something skin by reproducing the effects of beta endorphins--molecules secreted by both the brain and the skin that trigger feelings of happiness. In vitro tests have shown that beta endorphins act on the proteins involved in the skin's barrier function to provide natural hydration, according to L'Oreal.
Both Super-Hydrating Skin Exhilarating Cleansing Mousse (rrp 4.99 [pounds sterling]) and Moisturiser (6.99 [pounds sterling]) will be available in normal/combination and dry/sensitive variants from January next year.
