ARTIS Software has announced a major upgrade to its product Artifex and the first commercial release of the Artifex Networking Toolkit. Its intuitive graphical language and comprehensive design environment make Artifex well suited for the exploration of a wide variety of schemes for bufferring, packet classification, congestion control, protection and restoration, as well as of scheduling algorithms and policies, ASIC architectures and optical networks. Artifex 4.3 represents a significant upgrade to ARTIS Software's product previous releases.
