Acterna has launched its new family of Optical Network Testers. Portable and rugged, ONT field instrumentation is the first to combine optical and digital test in a single, modular unit. Powerful software, remote web-based monitoring and user-configurable hardware make ONT the first complete solution for both optical layer and performance testing. ONT is a complete solution for verification of DWDM nodes, bit error rate/Q-factor testing, IP analysis and SONET/SDH test. It offers significant gains in operational efficiency for installers and operators of optical networks.
