Acterna has announced the launch of its new family of Optical Network Testers. Portable and rugged, ONT field instrumentation combines optical and digital test in a single, modular unit. Powerful software, remote web-based monitoring and user-configurable hardware make ONT the first complete solution for both optical layer and performance testing. ONT is a complete solution for verification of dense wave division multiplex (DWDM) nodes, bit error rate/Q-factor testing, IP analysis and SONET/SDH test. ONT is available in two versions for optical test only, or for combined optical and digital test.
