Racal Instruments introduces the ButterflyNet test fixture for life-test, burn-in, and characterization of laser diode and other butterfly-packaged photonic devices. Their time-saving design eliminates the need for mounting screws, facilitating quick and easy insertion and removal of up to 16 devices per "net". The fixture utilizes a novel mechanical design, which provides an extremely repeatable, uniform thermal contact between the fixture and the device package, ensuring excellent heat transfer.
