Filtronic's MA series of driver amplifiers have been designed using GaAs MMIC amplifiers and are manufactured using a volume automated assembly process. This ensures high reliability and consistent performance at an affordable cost. They are hermetically sealed and manufactured to meet the rigors of a full Telcordia 930 qualification. Both the MAO002 and the MAXO002 feature high output drive voltage, in excess of 7.5Vpp to allow them to be used with lithium niobate Mach-Zehnder modulators. The gain of the amplifier is adjustable allowing control of the output voltage and modulation injection. A detected output is provided for closed loop control and modulator bias may be applied via a control pin. The MAO002 offers a very flat gain and group delay response from 30 kHz...
