Racal Instruments unveils its four slot, VXI Mainframe, model 1266. With 250 W of total power and 175 W of usable power, this portable chassis weighs 19 lbs. The product is suitable for bench top and portable applications. Ample cooling air is delivered to the modules by means of a two-speed fan system designed to optimize acoustic noise and cooling. With its 3U rack footprint and various rackmount options, the product is suitable for technology insertions that replace existing rackmount instruments with the most recent VXI products, as well as for small data acquisition and test systems.
