Hughes Communications has launched new tariff plans for VPN (virtual private network) services provided to the enterprise segment under its managed services. Hughes announced that the new plans would be built on new satellite modems, which can provide MPLS-grade QoS and IPSEC implementation as well as SNM-powered, integrated FCAPS software on satellite as well as terrestrial modes.
K. Krishna, AVP marketing, Hughes Communications India Ltd., said that the firm has been able to demystify the satellite medium.
