Australian clean-up projects to start.

Two key clean-up projects in Australia have recently been announced: the clean-up of the 20-acre (8.1 ha) former West Melbourne Gasworks site, in the State of Victoria, and the treatment of dioxin-contaminated soil at the main Olympic site at Homebush Bay, in Sydney, New South Wales (NSW). The Docklands Authority in Victoria has awarded the Aus$45 million ($30 million) West Melbourne Gasworks clean-up to Enterra, a 50/50 joint venture between the environmental engineering firm, IT Environmental (Australia) Pty. Ltd., and civil construction firm, Abigroup Ltd.
