Financial Times Share Indexes A number of share indexes published by the Financial Times , daily except Sundays and Mondays, as a barometer of share prices on the London Stock Exchange. The Financial Times Actuaries Share Indexes are calculated by the Institute of Actuaries and the Faculty of Actuaries as weighted arithmetic averages for 54 sectors of the market (capital goods, consumer goods, etc.) and divided into various industries.
