In the Hvac System Design Category: first place -- Michael Hahn, Michael Laws, Joseph Laws, James Mallory and Nathaniel Mielke of Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Mich. Second place (tie) -- Douglas Popeney of California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, Calif.; and Nithiphan Kamolpattana, Kittipong Kukapiriya, Boonyasak Tantisirisomboon and Nithichai Thienrajanrawong of chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand.
