Intellidyne receives New York state grant.(Supplier News)

GLEN COVE, N.Y. -- Intellidyne LLC has received a grant from the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority for IntelliCon, the company's line of energy-saving devices for residential and commercial heating and cooling systems.
The $85,000 grant, to be matched by Intellidyne, will allow for a testing program that will enable the company to work in conjunction with the authority and Brookhaven National Laboratory. The focus of the program will be to study the benefits of the controls on a larger scale.
According to the company, IntelliCon enhances system performance through real-time "load-demand" analysis and control, which leads to a reduction in energy consumption, pollution, and equipment wear and tear.
