Metal cutting manufacturer Hypertherm has appointed John Brennan to the newly created position of North American distribution director and Randy McMurtry its new national distribution development manager. Both will work to help Hypertherm distributors grow their businesses.

Both Brennan and McMurtry bring a wealth of industry knowledge to their new positions, said Hypertherm officials. Brennan's experience spans 27 years and includes work as vice president of marketing for Merriam Graves, a large regional distributor in New England. McMurtry's knowledge of the welding and cutting industry spans 30 years, 19 of which have been at Hypertherm.
