Hypertherm's Centricut brand is building upon its recently introduced line of Innerlogic ProLine2200 consumables by adding a 150-amp consumable set to its list of offerings. The new 150-amp consumables join four other Proline2200 consumable sets--50-, 70-, 100- and 200-amp versions--introduced in May. The company says that in addition to a longer life and better cut quality, Centricut brand consumables can lower the operating cost of the Proline2200. The increased performance and lower operating cost is due to two Hypertherm innovations: patented SilverLine electrodes and patent-pending CoolFlow nozzles. SilverLine electrode technology involves welding a solid-silver front end to a copper electrode base and inserting a pin into the silver.
