The Knowledge Solutions Division (KSD) of the National Center for Manufacturing Sciences (NCMS), Ann Arbor, Mich., launched a portfolio of more than 40 online classes for manufacturers with topics covering information assurance, quality and environmental compliance. By establishing strategic partnerships with select content providers, KSD converted conventional education material into electronic instructional courses, thereby eliminating the providers' need for a full-time distributed learning expert. Each courses features a free overview and demonstration to ensure that the content fits the buyer's information needs
