Once again, Acal's results reported a mixed picture, with progress at its electronics and IT services divisions being partly offset by weakness in its parts business. There, demand fell off in the first quarter after a strong showing during the previous year. Acal also saw a slowdown on a big contract.
But Acal is agreeing preferred supplier contracts with some of its big customers, and has brought out the minority interests in parts services operation CPI, so there should be some improvement now.
