The potential loss of new programme commissions with the BBC and ITV could hit the group's figures in 2009 Shunil Roy-Chaudhuri
Television content group RDF Media, which produced the controversial trailer for BBC1's A Year With The Queen, is facing the fallout. The BBC and ITV have suspended new programme commissions from RDF pending the independent inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the trailer. RDF expects the inquiry to report by the end of September.
RDF says it is confident it will be able to satisfy the BBC that steps will be put in place to ensure an incident like this doesn't happen again. Contracted revenues from the BBC will account for around 10 per cent of total turnover for the current year, while contracted revenues from ITV will...
