Imaging technology provider OMG's shares leapt 6 per cent on news it was adding to its early-stage street-mapping division Tim Bradshaw
Imaging technology provider OMG's shares leapt on news it has acquired highway surveying company Data Collection Ltd (DCL), for GBP5m in cash and shares. The deal gives OMG's nascent street-mapping division, Yotta, practical experience and strong customer relationships among local authorities, who can use Yotta to automate data gathering on street furniture and road conditions.
