Cobham wins US tanker deal.

Investors Chronicle - magazine and web content, March, 2008

Cobham will benefit to the tune of $1bn from a tanker replacement programme for the US Air Force. Stephen Gunnion

Cobham has been selected to supply air refuelling equipment, antennas and avionics equipment for the KC-45A aerial refuelling tanker, which Northrop Grumman and EADS are building for the US Air Force. Cobham's part in the USAF tanker contract could be worth up to $1bn (GBP504m) over the life of the programme.

The USAF tanker programme will provide a further boost to Cobham's business so, at 191p, its shares remain good value.
