The first dividend increase in a decade is a good indication of how handsomely the strategy of electronics and industrial components distributor Premier Farnell is paying off. The benefits of the shift in focus from manufacturing, repair and operations (MRO) components to the electronic design engineer sector (EDE), building up internet sales and the presence in international markets, were really rubbed home in the fourth quarter. And the momentum in the business has been maintained into the new financial year.
