Inmarsat launch delayed.

Investors Chronicle - magazine and web content, March, 2008

Problems with a previous launch mean Inmarsat is likely to postpone April's launch . Tim Bradshaw

Inmarsat has delayed plans to launch its third Inmarsat-4 satellite in April after problems with a previous launch by its rocket provider. The satellite is intended to increase Inmarsat's coverage in the Pacific. However, a short delay is not expected to have any financial impact on 2008 results. International Launch Services and the Russian State Commission are investigating the cause of the launch failure.

Inmarsat's shares fell 3 per cent on this news but remain highly rated at 431p. Fairly priced.
