Dreamliner delays no disaster for Rolls-Royce.

Possible further delays to Boeing's 787 Dreamliner have brought into question the potential impact on suppliers such as Rolls-Royce - which, together with GE, will be supplying engines to the Dreamliner - as well as smaller components makers like such as Meggitt, Umeco, Senior and Hampson.

Delivery of the first Dreamliner has been delayed twice already - mostly recently until early 2009 - and reports last week suggest the first new aircraft may only be delivered in the third quarter of 2009 due to redesign requirements by the 787's largest customer, the International Lease Finance Corporation (ILFC).
