Rathbone High Income set for merger.

FUND PROFILE: After only two years, Rathbone High Income fund is too small to go it alone and is to be merged into Rathbone Blue Chip Income and Growth
The Rathbone High Income fund has been lead managed by Julian Chillingworth since May 2006. A former head of UK equities at Investec Asset Management, he was appointed as Rathbone's chief investment officer in August 2002. He also managers Rathbone's Ethical Bond and Blue Chip Income and Growth funds.
The latter point is significant, because it has been proposed that as from 8 July the High Income fund will be merged into the larger Blue Chip Income and Growth - subject, of course, to Financial Services Authority and unitholder approvals. Mr Chillingworth says that...
