WTC cleaning/testing data to be put on the Web.(World Trade Center)(Brief Article)

Industrial Safety & Hygiene News, December, 2002

EPA will begin putting data from its downtown residential cleaning and testing program on its Web site. Initial data, from asbestos in air tests conducted in about 200 homes, will initially be put in table form on EPA's World Trade Center Web site (www.epa.gov/wtc).

The data posted will include the total number of homes that have been cleaned and tested, or tested only, the number of those homes that were cleared and the number at which the stringent EPA clearance criteria was not met.

This data will be updated regularly as cleaning and testing work progresses. In coming weeks, EPA will display data geographically on a block-by-block basis using a clickable map.
