A new report from the National Energy Technology Laboratory is now available as part of a continuing program to develop resource characterization data for the future development of natural gas in the United States.
The report, titled Geologic Play Book of Trenton-Black River Exploration in the Appalachian Riuin, incorporates and integrates regional geologic, geochemical and geophysical data to characterize two plays across the eastern U.S. basin. It highlights details of the stratigraphie relationships and facies trends, structural geology and seismic interpretations, carbonate petrology, isotope and fluid inclusion analyses, natural gas geochemistry and production trends to produce an integrated stratigraphicstrucrural-diagenetic model for the development of hydrothermal...
