Tea tales. (Travel Tidbits).(Brief Article)
Wind Speaker, October, 2002
Visitors to the Japanese Pavilion at the Montreal Botanical Garden can learn all about the history of the most popular beverage in the world at the pavilion's new Tea Garden, an adjunct to the Salon de the, which presents ritual tea preparation ceremonies. Autumn is also one of the best times to-visit the botanical garden's Chinese Garden, when the annual Magic of Lanterns display dazzles young and old alike.
This year hundreds of lanterns, shaped like frogs, cranes, turtles and lotus blossoms, will cast their glow over the garden every evening (514/872-1400 or www2.ville.montreal.qc.ca/jardin/jardin.htm).
