While most home health agencies are reeling from the effects of changes in Medicare reimbursement and struggling to survive, one agency is fighting back with a $3 million, 18-month advertising campaign.

Interim HealthCare, based in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., has also experienced downsizing and recently closed about 20 of its 350 local agencies, which are in all 50 states. But despite its downsizing, the company has continued its commitment to home health, and the advertising campaign demonstrates this commitment, says James Booth, Interim's president and chief executive officer.
