FBI program expands.

The FBI announced plans to expand the fax service provided under the agency's Development of Espionage, Counterintelligence and Counterterrorism Awareness (DECA) program. DECA-fax was conceived as a tool for keeping the US business community better informed about industrial espionage and terrorism. The success of DECA-fax in the New York region has prompted the bureau to implement it nationwide.

In an effort to improve communications between public law enforcement and private security, the FBI is expanding a nine-month-old fax service provided by its Development of Espionage, Counterintelligence, and Counterterrorism Awareness (DECA) program. DECA-fax is designed to keep corporate America better informed about industrial espionage and terrorist activities....
