Industrial espionage is becoming a serious problem for Corporate America. Studies have demonstrated that insider threat is exposing companies to the risk of information theft. This threat comes from current and former employees with access to sensitive information and company facilities. Although the intentional mole is serious problem, the unwitting accomplice may be as harmful to the company. Security managers should develop strategies with both groups in mind.
