The new Xperience system from Alpha Systems Lab of Costa Mesa, California, stores and transmits digital images through its PC-based system. It serves four cameras and can be expanded to serve 32 cameras. It offers a 16 by 3 matrix switcher, software video-motion detection with smart search, and remote configuration capability. Video clips can be converted to AVI file format. Users can add software modules as needed to meet changing security needs. 839
