Alarm communications module.

Security Management, February, 2006

Tyco Fire & Security of Concord, Ontario, Canada, has released the T-Link TL300 universal IP communicator that can communicate with any control panel that uses the Contact ID format, even those from other manufacturers. Easy to install, it saves money by using existing IP networks to create fully supervised security solutions between protected premises and the central monitoring station.

Because it uses only a small portion of the network bandwidth, data-transfer speed is never compromised. It also features 128-bit AES encryption for security. When a DSC Sur-Gard System II virtual receiver with SG-DRL3-IP Internet line card is installed at the central monitoring station, an always-on, two-way line of alarm communication is created. 215
