Hegarty leads `AA' Best jury.(Brief Article)

[New York] John Hegarty, chairman-worldwide creative director of Bcom3 Group's Bartle Bogle Hegarty in London and New York, will serve as chief judge for this year's competition for The Ad Age Best Awards.

Advertising Age presents The Best Awards each spring to honor outstanding examples of print, broadcast, out-of-home and interactive advertising that first appeared in the previous calendar year.

Mr. Hegarty chairs a jury comprising agency executives, top marketing executives and Ad Age editors.

Marketing executives who have agreed to judge are Andrew Burke, senior brand manager for Altoids, from Philip Morris Cos.' Kraft, and Walter Hanek, director of advertising, Volkswagen's Audi of America.
