Yes, Dan Rather interviewed Saddam Hussein for CBS, but did he interview Osama Bin Laden?

No, but Peter Arnett did in March 1997 for CNN. Now Peter is the new war correspondent for ``National Geographic Explorer,'' and he's in Baghdad filing dispatches that have appeared on MSNBC. He hopes to stay in Baghad after the bombs start dropping, just as he did during the Gulf War. His job this time will be to file a weekly feature for National Geographic and periodic news updates for MSNBC called ``Baghdad Diaries.'' The first weekly feature will air March 16.
