[New York] MDC Partners has opened a U.S. headquarters in New York City. The company has operated from Toronto since it was founded in 1980. Working from the new office will be: MDC Vice Chairman and Exec-VP Steve Berns, newly hired from Interpublic; Bob Van Horn, head of partner development; and Rob Dickson and Graham Rosenberg, both of whom split operations and acquisition duties. "The predominant market for us now is the States,'' said MDC Partners Chairman-CEO Miles Nadal.
