Advertising Age, August, 2005

[St. Louis] Anheuser-Busch, facing falling share and volume, shook up its marketing department last week by promoting Marlene Coulis, 44, to VP-brand management. She succeeds longtime ad chief Bob Lachky, who was named exec VP-global industry development. Ms. Coulis previously held research, strategy and new-product roles. She's expected to continue the brewer's new-product push and try to make beer hip for young adults. The brewer, expected to sharpen its focus on African-American and Hispanic consumers by creating VP roles overseeing those disciplines, has already tapped Henry Dominguez, currently VP-government affairs for the company's Western region, to take the VP-Hispanic marketing role.
