Matthias Bruell, 39, to managing director, MediaCom, Dusseldorf, Germany. He'll be responsible for Volkswagen Group's $300 million German account. Previously, he worked at BMW Group, Munich, where he was in charge of the German car maker's media budget. He succeeds Joerg Bursee, MediaCom's global director for Volkswagen.

Nick Waters to chief executive of MindShare for Europe, Middle East and Africa, from CEO of MindShare Asia Pacific. He succeeds Julio Malegori, who will run MindShare in Italy. Ashutosh Srivastava, chief executive of WPP Group's GroupM media operation...
