Heineken has yanked U.S. creative-advertising chores on its flagship Heineken lager and Heineken Premium Light brands from Berlin Cameron United and awarded it to Wieden & Kennedy, Portland, Ore., without a review, according to people familiar with the matter. Heineken last week informed WPP-backed Berlin that it was moving the business to Wieden, the shop it bested in a lengthy review for the business that ended in March.The two brands spent a combined $73.4 million through the first nine months of 2007, according to TNS Media Intelligence.
Intel Corp. has placed its media-buying account under review, the company said. Interpublic Group of Cos.' Universal McCann, the global incumbent on the media account, is defending, but it wasn't clear at press time which...
