A couple Mondays ago, when news broke that New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer had been linked to a prostitution ring, the No. 1 parlor game in New York media circles was predicting what the tabloid take-specifically, the New York Post headline-would be. Too bad the Post's "Ho No!'' arrived too late for inclusion in this coffee-table book from HarperEntertainment (a Murdoch property, of course), which takes its title from the paper's most famous headline ever.

The book's subtitled "The Best Headlines from America's Favorite Newspaper.'' Um, favorite? Was that fact-checked? Whatever.
