Pirelli to track tire registration
ROME, Ga.-Pirelli Tire North America (PTNA) has launched an online service for consumers to register their tires in case of a recall.
The Rome-based tire maker said it has redesigned its Web site, www.us.pirelli.com, to incorporate a user friendly online tire registration form.
``The new online tire registration form recognizes that many people in the U.S. prefer to use the Internet to send information rather than the traditional mail system and therefore it is hoped that a higher percent of people will actually end up registering,'' said Guy Mannino, Pirelli CEO.
