Marangoni adds staff.(Special Report)

After experiencing record sales in 2007, Marangoni Tread North America Inc. is expanding, adding a region and two regional sales managers to its staff.

Doug Edwardsen, formerly a Bandag Inc. executive, will be responsible for the newly created central region. He has worked in the tire and retreading industry for more than 25 years, gaining experience in distribution and development of fleet and dealer sales, Marangoni said.

The company also hired Don Hunkeapillar for the position of sales manager for the southeast region, replacing Marge Connors, who is now the company's marketing and communications manager.
