American Tire Distributors promotes several managers.(News)

American Tire Distributors (ATD) Inc. has made several key management promotions that it said will help position the company for continued growth.

The distributor promoted two individuals to executive vice president: Phil Marrett becomes executive vice president of procurement and Dan Brown is now executive vice president of sales.

Mr. Marrett has nearly 30 years of industry experience including 20 years with Dunlop Tire Corp. He will be responsible for the procurement process and supply chain management for all ATD products.

Mr. Brown, a 33-year industry veteran, will continue to direct the company's sales initiatives to become a "world class'' sales organization, the company said.
