Homer Hudson returns to Australia.

Homer Hudson Ice Cream has been reintroduced in Australia. The brand was originally established by Unilever in 1989 as an Australian brand made for the Australian market. By the early 1990s, Homer Hudson had achieved cult status in the superpremium ice cream segment. But over the next decade, Unilever choosing to concentrate its marketing efforts on other ice cream brands, lowered its support for Homer Hudson, allowing distribution to dwindle to the point where many of its fans came to believe it had been withdrawn from the market.
